Super Cute Cabin with a big deck to enjoy a day at the lake. Dock, canoe, Kayak and boat lift for you to use. Sandy/Gravel shoreline with a gradual depth is great for kids to spend the day in the water. Full kitchen with dishes, pans and cooking utensils. Bright sunroom lined with lake view windows. Lot of grass and big fire ring to enjoy yard games and later roast some hot dogs or make s'mores. Bean bag boards, ladder golf and horseshoes provided. Just put in a swim access. (there will be grass by spring) This makes a place for the little ones to play and an easy way to get the canoe in and out. One private Bedroom and a nice futon in the living room. There's room for an air mattress or sleep on the couch in the sunroom. The cabin is on a quiet dead end gravel road with about 20 other cabins. If your stay is during the week it's a quiet place. The weekends bring 5-10 other families. Collinwood has a county park/campground which limits the number of boats and homes on the lake, but gives you a beautiful sandy swim beach you can boat or canoe to. The park starts at the end of 78th street and goes 1/4 of the way around the East side of the lake. There are 15 miles of hiking paths in the park for you to enjoy. It's a wonderful summer get away. If it's hot there are 2 window air conditioners that keep it plenty cool. If it's chilly there is electric heat to keep you warm. This is the first summer we've started sharing our little piece of heaven so, there are no reviews yet and we will be making some more improvements as the weather permits.

Our vacation rental home is located on Big Swan Lake 683 Acres mostly made up of Sand bottom and lightly developed. The lake is quiet and offers great fishing. One of the great things about Big Swan Lake is you do not have heavy boat traffic so this makes it safer for you and your family out on the water. Our home has 100 ft of shoreline along side a neighboring property that has a double lot lake lot. So this gives your family and friends more privacy.

The property has a dock for fishing, swimming, and docking boats. Wood burning sauna available for sauna swims. The property is on Big Swan lake that is a lightly developed lake 660 Acres and is known for walleye fishing. You can also catch crappies, blue gills, small mouth bass, large mouth bass, and more. You will find a nice fire ring for evening bonfires. We also provide a gas grill and a charcoal grill. The lake shed has some life jackets to use along with some lake toys for the kids. Big Swan lake has water fluctuation so when the water is low you will find sandy gravel bottom for swimming. When the water is high you can wade into the water from the dock. You will enjoy your time on Big Swan Lake. Most boaters on the lake are out doing some walleye fishing. We offer the garage to be used for parking 2 vehicles in and you have room for an additional vehicle and a boat trailer.

It has a hard, sandy bottom making it nice for wading & swimming. It's known for great fishing year-round, especially walleyes, and has low lake traffic. The deck gives you a relaxing place to enjoy your morning coffee, and our tree-lined lot gives you privacy with space for lawn games and campfires with a panoramic, sunset view of the lake. Within walking distance are scenic woodlands and marshes (State Wildlife Mgmt lands) that are home to all kinds of critters. Our main level welcomes plenty of natural light into the spacious open-concept great room, with a large patio door access to the deck. You can do your grilling just out the back door (charcoal or gas grills) and the campfire pit is just steps away. There are 2 bedrooms and a bath upstairs, as well. The attached garage/game room is easily accessed from the living room, with full size ping pong and air hockey tables, lawn games, tables and chairs. It is temperature controlled with options for AC in summer and heat in winter. There are TVs on both levers and a DVD collection to browse. The common room in the basement welcomes kids, teens and adults alike to have "sleepover fun" on 3 bunk beds and a futon couch. Two bedrooms, a full bathroom, and utility room are just down the hall. Please note: parking at our property is limited; the driveway will hold 4-5 vehicles, depending on size. There is no overnight street parking allowed (road has no shoulders). * The Public Lake Access is located on the north end of the lake and has a concrete ramp, parking and a sandy/beachy area. ** There is a dock at the home but currently no boat lift. Please bring an anchor for any watercraft you bring to anchor near shore overnight. There are a few apple orchards nearby that offer both kids and adult activities. Grab some apples and head back to the cabin to bake a homemade pie and sip on a fresh jug of local apple cider. In the wintertime our cabin includes ice skates in numerous sizes (we can't guarantee we have your size), sleds, a pair of cross country skis and snow toys. Want to try your hand at ice fishing? We have an icehouse* located on the lake within walking distance from our cabins front door with pre-drilled holes, a heater and fishing equipment. Want to stay inside and relax during your stay? Comes with an AC window unit for the lower level bedroom. Rarely if ever used. Washer and dryer available in lower level. A true family get-away. Pets & children welcome.

This listing is to rent the Prairie Dome. Prairie Dome has a double bed in the loft with skylight, twin bed and single trundle bed underneath, and full size futon on main floor. It has a large kitchenette, gas fireplace, and beautiful wood design. Wonderful gathering spaces, kitchenette, sauna, library, bathroom/shower, labyrinth in prairie, small lake for swimming/boating & walking paths. The space There are 3 individual and separate cabins/hermitages, each has its own listing on Vrbo. For groups wanting to rent the whole farm please contact us directly. All cabins are self-catering with environmentally friendly compost toilets. Each includes microwave, coffeemaker, small refrigerator, hot plate, dishes, cookware, linens, blankets, towels, coffee/tea etc. They each have a fireplace and baseboard heat for winter and air conditioner and fans for summer. The only thing one needs to bring is personal items and food for your stay. During Covid we have needed to change different protocols. We are not serving any food and we ask guests to wear masks in the shared space of the Wellness Center. The shower, sauna, massage room and library are all in the Wellness Center. Upon arrival guests are typically greeted keeping social distance then you can go directly to their cabin/hermitage. There will be a thermal jug of water for your use since there is no running water in the cabins themselves. There is no wifi in the cabins/hermitages. Limited wifi in the Wellness Center. The cabins/hermitages are all accessible by car and are in close walking distance of the Wellness Center, the central building. Guest access Walking trails through woods, the lake with assorted paddle boats, canoes, paddle board and kayak, a fire pit for bonfires, the 7 circuit labyrinth in the prairie and all amenities in the Wellness Center including kitchen, library, sauna and massage (appointments made separately). Guests can visit the barn and the chickens, cats if desired. Other things to note There is a fire pit for bonfires, hammocks in two of the hermitages/cabins and picnic tables and swinging chairs/swings throughout the property.

The dining room table seats 6 and 4 more can be seated at the island. There is plenty of room to unwind in the living room while you watch the HDTV or stream music. The Landing Spot has internet access, WiFi and a land line for phone service. At just shy of one acre, you'll have plenty of space to park and participate in outdoor activities. Relax in the hot tub after a day on the water or enjoying a round of golf at one of the nearby golf courses. Many outdoor activities are available for your guests to enjoy, such as bean bag toss, ladder ball and bocce ball. Of course there is the lake to enjoy too. Lake Sylvia is one of the top lakes in Minnesota boasting 17 ft water clarity. Paddle boards, kayaks and a canoe are available for use on the lake. The owner also has a 2018 Bennington Pontoon for rent. The boat is rented through Boatsetter. Go to their website and search for boats near Annanadale, or West Lake Sylvia, and you'll see a pontoon by Scott. The public access is close by for ease of launching your boat. Our lake home is nestled on the shores of the spectacular West Lake Sylvia in the small town of South Haven, MN. The yard offers plenty of room to play games or rest and relax. The lake home is warm and inviting. Lake Sylvia is made up of two gorgeous lakes with a channel connecting them. West Lake Sylvia offers over 1,000 acres with a max depth of 97 feet. East Sylvia offers 750 acres. Lake Sylvia is one of the clearest lakes in MN, with water clarity reaching 20 feet. Lake Sylvia is a fishing and recreational lake, there’s plenty of room for all day fishing, kayaking, boating, swimming, rafting, paddle boarding, skiing and whatever else you’re interested in. We are about an hour West of the Twin Cities on West Lake Sylvia. We have 94 feet of lakeshore with a new dock coming Spring of 2018, which you may tie two boats up to and a jet ski (Annandale, MN has many outfitters you may rent from). Our home has 5 bedrooms with 8 beds for 12 people to sleep comfortably. There is a flat screen TV with a DVD player, games for families, and comfy furniture to relax and dine on. Welcome to our Cozy Cabin on Lake Sylvia. We hope you will enjoy our piece of paradise! Enjoy breathtaking views from our upper level deck and lower patio. Both areas have ceiling fans for your comfort. The upper deck boasts a large wrap around sofa and chair to lounge on. The lower patio has an outdoor dining set, lounge area and grill. There is a fire pit for sharing fish stories and making smores. Bedroom # 1 has a queen Tempurpedic mattress. Bedroom # 2 has a queen Novaform mattress and the living room has a sleeper sofa with a premium queen mattress. The kitchen comes equipped with a Keurig and all the basics you might expect (please ask if you are looking for something specific) and you are welcome to use the grill on the patio. Other things to note: There is parking for 4 vehicles. Towels and linens are included. Free WIFI. Bedrooms are upstairs and we have a spiral staircase. If you have mobility challenges, our cabin is not a good fit. We have a pontoon available to rent for an additional cost.

Beautiful 3 bedroom (including loft), 2 bathroom, cottage that sits on 85ft of lakefront property located steps away from crystal clear Lake Sylvia (17ft of water clarity). In addition to the cabin, we also have an air-conditioned bunk house with a full size Murphy bed and two sets of bunk beds (no bathroom). At the back of our 1 acre property there is a large shop that we've made into a game area. We have a basketball court, ping pong table and dart board for those rainy days. At the lakefront, we have two docks to accommodate your boat(s) and/or jet-ski(s) for lake cruising, or just relax on the dock and cast in a line. The lake is great for swimming and we have floaties for kids to use. End your swimming day by lighting a fire in our fire pit right on the water. The cottage has a massive deck with a large patio table that can accommodate up to 8 people comfortably - the view is gorgeous! Loons visit the property often, and occasionally you’ll see a crane or bald eagle hanging around. Inside the cabin, the kitchen is equipped with a fridge, microwave, stove, etc. The living room has a fireplace, TV and DVD player with plenty of movies for adults & kids. There are 2 bedrooms. One is a Master and the other we call the 'tree house room' due to the full size bed and two bunk beds high above. Additionally, we have a loft space with a full size bed and storage space (bed linens provided). We have 2 full newly renovated bathrooms - one has a shower and tub for the little tikes. This charming summer cottage has origins in the 1920s and is one of the most private spots on all of Lake Sylvia. Seated on 20+ acres of maples and cedars, you will enjoy walks in the woods and private access to the cleanest and most well-known lake in the area. It's a beautiful spot for families to get away, kick back and experience lake life. We've decorated with antiques, and recently updated the kitchen and added wireless internet. A separate boathouse has a rooftop deck and is a few feet from the water, a great spot to watch the sunset. Bring your boat, or fish and swim right from the dock. You have access to the entire house and Lake Sylvia via the private dock. If you’ve got a boat, there is a public landing on the other side of the lake. There is a spot to tie up a boat on the dock. The cottage is located just off of the Lake Sylvia Peninsula Road. This road winds between East and West Lake Sylvia. It's a great spot to walk or ride bikes as it gets very little traffic. You are bound to see some wildlife here. A doe had two fawns this spring. We see them nearly every day.

Enjoy the scenery as you drive on the two mile wooded stretch of the peninsula. Look for the deer and other wildlife in their natural habitat. You don't have to drive for three hours to have the 'Up North' atmosphere. We are approximately seventy-five minutes from Mpls. and located on the peninsula of pristine West Lake Sylvia. Welcome to the cabin! We can sleep ten people. The main floor bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed. The upper level has two bedrooms, one with a queen size bed. The second bedroom has two extra long twin beds and a bunk bed which is also extra long. Each bedroom has a clock radio. The living room has a comfortable queen size hide-a-bed. The main floor bathroom has a large shower and is adjacent to the bedroom. The kitchen is furnished with a gas range, refrigerator/freezer and microwave. The small appliances include a coffee maker, electric hand mixer, electric fry pan and a four slice toaster. We have a TV with DVD/VCR receiving the basic channels. There is a portable stereo/CD player and a under the cabinet radio/CD player in the kitchen. The dining area has a table and seating for six. The family room has a table which is often used for a buffet. The two upstairs bedrooms have window air conditioner units. The main floor is furnished with one large air conditioner and six ceiling fans. We have a variety of movies and board games for your enjoyment. Outdoors, if you're not using the canoe or paddle boat you can play a game of bean bag toss or shoot some hoops. We have various sizes of life jackets and floaties. The dock has a platform on the end with a bench for relaxing or taking in the amazing view. You can watch the fish swimming in the crystal clear water or drop a hook and catch a nice sunfish. The loons may also pop-up for a visit. We have a charcoal grill for your BBQ. In the evening you can gather around the campfire and listen to the call of the loons. Have your camera ready to capture that perfect sunset! Please note my seasonal rental is only available from May through September.
